Fairview provides regular gatherings designed to Bring, Build, and Send the men and women of our church in unique and exciting ways.
Campus Services: Custodial, Sunday Prep, and Projects Teams
Our Campus Services teams work behind the scenes preparing our facility for worship! Our Custodial Team cleans, straightens chairs, vacuums, and more to keep our facility welcoming and clean. The Sunday Prep team arrives early to do a final walkthrough of the building and make sure we're ready for service. Lastly, our Projects Team assists with smaller "handy man" type projects around the building including hanging signage, minor carpentry, drywall, etc.
Creative Communications: Photography & Digital Media
Do you enjoy photography? Are you good at maintaining an active social media presence? Maybe you know your way around Photoshop and enjoy graphic design. If you're like to help us Bring, Build, and Send through the medium of digital and social media, we'd love to talk!
Deacons serve our congregation as well as surrounding local community in a variety of important ways. This may mean praying with and for those in need, preparing and serving Communion, making hospital visits, allocating benevolence support, and more. If you have a heart for serving others as the Spirit leads, Deacon ministry might be for you!
Hospitality matters as we welcome our church family to worship every Sunday! Our Coffee Team provides simple service coffee, teas, and water as a matter of hospitality and refreshment.
First Impressions: Parking Lot, Greeters, Welcome Center
As guests arrive for Sunday morning worship, this team ensures that every first impression is of a welcoming church that points people to Jesus. Our parking lot, outdoor, and indoor greeters all help to welcome guests and guide them in the right direction once inside the building.
Our host team is responsible for welcoming our church community into worship. Sometimes this includes 1-2 brief event announcements but always includes a personal greeting to the church body, our first-time guests, and those joining us online.
If you love Jesus and love kids you'll want to learn more about the Fairview Kids team! Join us as we serve our children by playing games, leading songs, and sharing the gospel in creative and new ways each week.
Have a passion for organizing and preparing meals? We would love to have you on this team to help with the many meals needed for special events and small meetings regularly happening at Fairview.
The Psalmist writes that "God inhabits the praises of his people." Our Worship Team is responsible for leading our church through music, prayer, and praise, and by creating the environment in which we experience the presence of God.
While serving the community outside our walls is the calling of everyone in our church, the Outreach Team provides leadership to special community outreach and service projects including our Love In Action food drive, providing school supplies to local elementary students, and more.
Our Prayer Team meets monthly to pray together for the needs of our community as well as to create a culture of prayer within the church.
We want every ministry within our church to be available and accessible to each person who visits or regularly attends. If you would like to partner with us as we make our church more accessible to children and adults with special needs, this is the team for you.
Our trustees provide oversight for our facility and property by stewarding the resources God has blessed us with and making sure every environment at Fairview is safe, efficient, and effective. For example, this team is responsible for managing our HVAC system, ensuring appropriate indoor & outdoor lighting, and addressing other issues as they arise.
Do the letters 'AVL' mean anything to you? If so, we'd love for you to get involved serving our church by operating Audio, Video, Lighting, and media components during our in-person AND online Sunday morning services .

Our ushers assist in a variety of ways within the worship center. They are responsible for seating arrangements, helping with the flow of guests before and after service, and serving in a variety of other ways.
